Location

International university language courses at the Alps-Adriatic-University of Klagenfurt, between city center and the famous lake Wörth. Due to recent renovation and expansion, the university, located at the crossroads of three cultures (Austria, Italy and Slovenia), has become a very attractive educational center.

The language center German in Austria who is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019, offers German courses for language interested from all over the world that fulfill even the most individual needs:

Activities

Almost daily leisure activity programs in summer, except on Sundays. Our leisure team designs numerous programs for you, containing cultural- sports- and sight seeing activities of all kind.

View over Lake Wörth, Carinthia's largest lake

Lake Woerth, a popular film location and the subject of many songs, is surely one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Austria.

Hotel Castle Velden, the

"The Castle on Lake Wörth" was a popular TV series in the Eighties with the German singer "Roy Black" in a leading part. Today the castle again a hotel.

Landhaushof

The Landhaus, one of Klagenfurt's most representative profane buildings, contains the small and the large room of emblems where J.F. Fromiller eternalized all 963 Carinthian emblems.

Where ever you go, to the "Alter Platz", the center of the medieval city, or to the small side streets, time nestles everywhere: Relicts of late medieval buildings, typical arcade courtyards or younger art nouveau buildings.
